Central Management
Central Management makes it easy to configure, monitor, and update Launcher across all your meeting spaces, without leaving your desk. In this video, Joe walks you through how to get started and what you can do once it’s set up.
Getting started with Central Management
The Central Management portal gives IT teams complete oversight of every Launcher device, from setup and updates to policies and templates, all from a single, secure dashboard.
Accessing the portal
To begin, visit the Central Management portal.
Create an account or sign in using your DisplayNote webstore credentials.
Upon account creation, you'll be prompted to add your licence keys. If you need to add more keys, open the Licenses tab and enter your licence keys from the 'Add Licenses' button.
This automatically registers all activated devices linked to those licences, so you can view, group, and manage them by location, function, or layout.
2. Set roles and permissions
Control who can do what across your organization.
There are three levels of access:
Owner – Full control of the account, including users, licences, and devices.
Admin – Can view and manage all devices, assign roles, and configure settings.
Operator – Manages assigned rooms or groups, ideal for regional IT teams.
To add a member of your team, go to the Team tab, select Invite your team, and enter their email address.
3. What you can do in Central Management
Check real-time device status
See which rooms are online, what groups they are in, and view licence expiry details, all at a glance.
Resolve issues quickly, wherever you are.
Group and organize devices
Sort rooms by location, floor, or department to match your workflow.
Groups make it easier to assign Operators and apply updates at scale.
Create and apply templates
Set up your perfect Launcher configuration once, then apply it to multiple rooms with a single click.
Update the template later, and push those changes instantly to keep everything in sync.
Push changes remotely
Need to change a shortcut, refresh branding, or roll out a new layout?
Do it once, apply it everywhere, no more walking room-to-room.
Enforce cleanup and security policies
Manage data privacy from one place.
Update or apply custom cleanup profiles across all rooms to clear browser data and reset sessions automatically.
