Manage remotely

Below you'll find detail and instructions on navigating your way through our Central Management portal.

This short demo below walks you through how to register devices, create templates, assign roles, and push updates, all from one central place.
Whether you're managing five rooms or fifty, you'll see how Version 2 makes it easier to stay in control.

Accessing the Portal

To get started, visit the DisplayNote Launcher Portal.
You’ll need to create an account, or simply sign in if you’ve previously registered through the DisplayNote webstore.

Adding Your Devices

Once logged in, go to the Licences tab.
Here you’ll enter your licence keys, this will automatically register all activated devices linked to that licence.
You’ll then be able to find, view, and group your devices by location, function, or layout.

User Roles and Permissions

Each account has three possible roles with different levels of control:

Owner

  • Full control of the account

  • Can add/remove users, manage licences, configure all devices

  • Only one owner per account

Admin

  • Can view and manage all devices

  • Can make changes to settings, assign roles, and manage users

  • Ideal for global or IT leads

Operator

  • Can be assigned to specific rooms or groups of devices

  • Can make device-level changes, but cannot manage users or licences

  • Ideal for local or regional IT teams

Once you've made your account, you can add your team by heading to the Users tab, select Invite User and add their email address.

What's possible in Central Management

Check real-time device status

The dashboard gives you and your team a clear overview of:

  • Which devices are online or offline

  • Whether Kiosk Mode is enabled

  • Licence expiry and activation details

Giving you peace of mind and the chance to resolve issues quickly, no matter where you are or what office you're in.

Group and organize devices

Sort rooms by location, floor, team, or function, whatever matches how you work.
Easier to filter, assign, and manage at scale.

Go to Access in the portal to create a new group. Using the three main tab keys, you can select which Operators can access this group as well as the devices that should be included.

Create and apply templates at scale

Set up your ideal Launcher configuration once, then apply it to as many devices as needed with a single click. Update the template later, and push those changes instantly to keep everything in sync.

Head to Settings Templates in the portal to create a new template or edit an existing. You'll find all the settings you would see at the main display. Once complete, head to Devices and the cog setting icon next to the device name. From here you can select and load the template and update the device immediately.

Need to update a shortcut URL, change a layout, or roll out new branding?
Just make the change once and push it to selected devices, no more walking room to room.

Update your Custom Cleanup profiles and apply them across rooms.
