What settings can I export?

  • Room Details: Name and location assigned to the device.

  • Microsoft Sign In: Sign-in permissions configured on the device.

  • Auto-update: Parameters set for automatic updates.

  • PIN: 4-digit code for accessing Settings.

  • Kiosk Mode: Whether Kiosk Mode is set on the device.

  • Cleanup profile: Settings for automatic, application, and system cleanups.

  • Calendar Event Privacy: Privacy configurations for calendar events.

  • Shortcuts: All shortcuts, including user-defined colours & icons.

  • Appearance: Home screen background and logo configurations.

  • License: Key, registered name, email, and organisation details.

Exporting settings

  1. Access General Settings:

    • Begin by opening Settings and navigating to the General section.

  2. Initiate Export:

    • Tap on Export located under the "Export settings" option.

  3. Choose Settings to Export:

    • Select the settings you wish to export. You can tap individual items or opt for Select all. After making your choices, tap Next.

  4. Save the Settings File:

    • A system file browser will open, allowing you to pick a location for the settings file (.lsf). It's recommended to retain the default file name without altering it.

  5. Complete the Export:

    • Once the process concludes, your settings will be stored in the chosen location. Following this, we provide guidance on importing settings – the details of which can be found below.

  1. Launch the Installer:

    • Open the installer. If you're not on an administrator account, input the required administrator credentials during installation.

  2. Set Launch Preference:

    • Choose your desired launch method using the Launch application on finish option.

  3. Opt for Settings Import:

    • If you wish to integrate settings from a prior installation, select Choose settings file. Then, pick the previously exported .lsf file.
