Stronger Calendar Connections with Microsoft Graph
Launcher now supports connecting Exchange Online room calendars using the Microsoft Graph API.
This is Microsoft’s modern and recommended way to connect to Microsoft 365 services, helping ensure Launcher remains fully compatible with evolving Microsoft security and authentication standards.
For IT teams, this means:
A more secure connection to Microsoft 365 room calendars
Better compatibility with Microsoft security and conditional access policies
A future-ready integration aligned with Microsoft’s platform direction
This change occurs behind the scenes, so rooms continue to display and launch meetings as expected.
Important: After updating Launcher, existing room calendar connections will continue using the previous connection method until the calendar is signed in again. Once re-authenticated, Launcher will automatically use Microsoft Graph for the connection.
New Device Deactivation in Central Management
Central Management now allows administrators to deactivate devices directly from their licence key, making it easier to move Launcher licences between devices.
From the Device View, simply select the three-dot quick action menu on a device and choose Deactivate Instance. This frees the licence so it can be assigned to new hardware.
This improvement makes it easier to:
Replace or upgrade room hardware
Redeploy licences across your estate
Manage devices without contacting support
It’s another step toward giving IT teams full control of their Launcher deployments.
