Screen Sharing

Preview screen shares on the main display

Moderators can now preview a participant’s screen share on the main display before approving it for everyone to see.

This added layer of control ensures that only appropriate and relevant content appears on the classroom screen, helping maintain a secure, distraction-free session.

How it works:

When a participant accepts a screen share invitation and selects what to share, a preview appears on the main display. The moderator can then approve or deny the content.

  • Approve: the participant’s screen is shared with the group.

  • Deny: the participant is notified that the share was declined.

If you have moderator mode turned on, this features will be enabled by default. To enable this feature:

Moderator mode must be enabled.

  1. Open Screensharing on your main display.

  2. Select Moderator Mode in your settings under Session Management. You’ll see the toggle for Preview under this setting to enable or disable.

  3. Once active, participant shares will show a preview before approval.

Note: In this release, previews appear only on the main display. A future update will expand this to show previews on the moderator’s device when controlling a session.
