In this update, we've incorporated a highly-anticipated feature to enhance convenience for teachers and presenters: Touchback for Miracast, also known as multitouch UIBC (User Input Back Channel) support.

This addition aligns with the existing back control functionality available in our desktop apps for Windows and Mac. So simply take control of what you're sharing from the main display, whether it's to flick through presentation slides, browse a website, or interact with content.

Optimised STUN/TURN Server Selection

For enhanced stability and consistency in connections, especially in educational settings with complex networks, our solution now automatically selects the most optimal STUN/TURN servers. This results in minimised disruptions and a seamless casting experience for all users.

Floating Session ID - Now Optional

While many users appreciate having the Session ID visible on-screen for quick and hassle-free connections, we understand that many teachers have a need for more control. To prevent unexpected sharing and potential disruptions, we've included the option to turn off the floating Session ID in Settings, ensuring these teachers have more flexibility over their sessions.

Improved Messaging for Local Sessions

When "Local connections only" is enabled, only participants on the same network can join the session. Previously, the information provided to participants trying to connect via the browser was not particularly instructive. We've changed this – now, upon entering a 10-digit ID, users receive clear feedback indicating they cannot connect via the browser and are provided with a link to download one of our dedicated apps.
