Deploy Launcher with Microsoft Intune
Launcher can now be installed and updated using Microsoft Intune in the system context, making it easier to deploy and manage devices using your existing Microsoft endpoint management tools.
For organizations already managing Windows devices through Intune, this provides a more streamlined deployment experience, allowing Launcher to be installed, updated, and maintained alongside other business applications without additional deployment processes.
Whether you're rolling out Launcher to a handful of meeting rooms or managing hundreds of devices across multiple locations, Intune support helps reduce manual effort while keeping deployments consistent across your estate.
Greater Flexibility for Meeting Integrations
Launcher now supports custom meeting domains, allowing organizations to configure their own meeting URLs through the config.json file.
This provides greater flexibility for organizations using custom conferencing environments or internally hosted meeting services. Support for configuring custom meeting domains through Central Management is planned for a future release, removing the need to update individual devices manually.
Improved Application Control
Users can now close Launcher or return directly to the desktop from supported internal Launcher applications, providing a smoother workflow when moving between Launcher and desktop applications.
Improvements
Improves Teams meeting reliability by extending the connection timeout, helping reduce failed join attempts on slower or congested networks.
Fixes
Fixes an issue that could prevent applications from launching following SPC cleanup.
Fixes a crash on secondary-screen shutdown that could trigger the "Launcher was unexpectedly closed" kiosk message.
Fixes an issue where room calendars did not refresh automatically.
Fixes an issue where company logos could render incorrectly.
