Call + App Launching

AirPlay now built into Launcher

No more switching apps or reaching for cables, you can now share your screen directly to your Call + App Launcher with Apple AirPlay, built right into the experience.

But this isn’t just about AirPlay, it’s the first step in bringing DisplayNote’s best-in-class casting technology into the core of Launcher. In the coming months, you’ll see Google Cast and additional wireless sharing options added right alongside AirPlay, turning Launcher into the true home for meetings and collaboration.

With this update, anyone can walk in, connect via Screen Mirroring, and share their content to the main display in seconds.

AirPlay runs natively in Launcher, meaning it’s as simple for users as it is secure for IT. You choose how it appears in the room, with an instructional tip below the room name, or quietly running in the background.

Available free for all users in beta from November 18

AirPlay will remain in beta while we gather feedback and optimize performance, before becoming a paid add-on in a future release.

Manage your Widgets, Your Way

Launcher’s home screen just got more flexible.

From the Edit Menu, you can now enable or disable widgets such as Calendar, Shortcuts, and Quick Actions to match each room’s setup or purpose.

Whether it’s simplifying smaller huddle spaces or giving power users more tools, you’re in full control of what appears on screen and what stays hidden.

Download Logs with One Click

The new Download Logs button lets you instantly extract system logs for any device.

If you ever run into an issue, you can now send detailed diagnostics straight to your IT team or DisplayNote Support, with no digging, no manual file searching, just troubleshooting made easier.

What This Means For You

With this release, Launcher takes another big step forward. Now, it’s not just the fastest way to start a meeting, it’s a hub for collaboration and control.

  • Simpler for users: join, share, and collaborate faster than ever.

  • Smarter for IT: manage, monitor, and troubleshoot rooms without extra tools.

  • Built for flexibility: from wired to wireless, every space works the way you need it to.
