Screen Sharing v2.59 Beta

v2.59

•

Beta

Broadcast a connected OPS/HDMI source

NewlineCast's Broadcast to Participants and Broadcast to Displays now mirror what is on the physical screen when a connected source (such as an OPS module) is being presented, rather than only the Android layer. Students joined to a broadcast session, or watching on additional mirrored displays, now see the presented content instead of a black screen.

Updated WebRTC engine

Montage's underlying WebRTC engine has been updated to the latest stable release (153). This keeps Montage compatible with current browsers and operating systems and picks up upstream fixes.

Web client meeting list only shows meetings you can join

The meeting discovery list in the web client no longer shows local meetings, so you won't pick a meeting and then hit a "No session found with this ID" error.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: two Windows clients set up from the same machine image could conflict with each other and have their sessions closed

  • Fixed: the "View broadcast" button in the web client's "Broadcasting Main Display" dialog could not be activated using only the keyboard

This version is for review only and should not be included with Production firmware.
